Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Barrios was inspired to pursue dentistry by her grandfather, who was a dentist in Miami. This early influence sparked her passion for helping others achieve optimal oral health and find relief from pain.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Barrios is able to connect with a diverse patient population, ensuring clear communication and comfort for all her patients.

Why did you decide to become a dentist?
The most rewarding aspect of Dr. Barrios’ practice is helping patients find relief from pain while building meaningful connections. She believes in turning potentially stressful dental experiences into positive ones where patients feel genuinely cared for and reassured.
“It’s incredibly fulfilling to see patients leave feeling better, more comfortable, and confident in their care,” says Dr. Barrios. “Building that trust and connection with each patient is what makes this profession so meaningful to me.”
Her commitment to compassionate care extends beyond the dental office. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Barrios participated in a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic, providing essential dental care to underserved communities – an experience that reinforced her dedication to helping others.

What do you like to do outside of the dental office?
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Barrios enjoys an active and adventurous lifestyle. An avid traveler, she has visited over 30 countries and loves experiencing new cultures and cuisines.
Her personal interests include: Traveling and cultural exploration, trying new restaurants and cuisines, spending quality time with family and friends, and taking walks with her golden retriever, Bleecker.
